SALES & MARKETING ADVISORY
Sales consulting and sales training in Malaysia from a director who carried the quota
ArkPerform’s sales consulting helps Malaysian companies and multinational sales teams turn marketing leads into closed revenue on high-value, considered purchases. Andy Bang leads the work personally, drawing on 25 years in sales and marketing, Sales and Marketing Director roles at Keyence, and more than RM300 million in project wins. We design your pipeline, sales process and go-to-market plan, then train and coach your team to run it.

Marketing gets the lead. The deal still has to close.
We see the same pattern constantly. The ads work, the enquiries arrive, and then they sit in an inbox for three days, get a one-line reply, and go quiet. The agency reports a win. The owner sees no revenue. Both are telling the truth, and the gap between them is the sales process.
Agencies stop at the enquiry because their accountability ends there. Ours continues to the closed deal, because that is the number we built the business around.
What advisory covers
Pipeline structure and CRM discipline give every deal a stage, an owner and a next action, so nothing stalls unnoticed.
Sales process design writes down the path from first call to quote to close, including what to say, send and ask at each step.
Go-to-market strategy covers launching a new product, entering a new segment or opening a new region, with the channels, messaging and targets agreed before spend.
Sales training and team coaching run live deal reviews, follow-up scripts, objection handling and closing practice inside your real pipeline, where the lessons stick.
Proposal and pricing reviews sharpen the documents that win or lose six-figure deals.
Why we fix the system before we train the people
Most sales training programmes in Malaysia run for a day, feel energising, and wear off within a fortnight, because the team goes back to the same pipeline with the same gaps.
Training works when it is attached to a process that makes the new behaviour the easy option.
So we start with the system: the stages, the follow-up cadence, the scripts and the CRM. Then we train your people inside it, on live deals, over weeks. The result is a team that closes more of the leads you already pay for, and keeps doing it after we leave.
What a sales programme covers, module by module
Pipeline truth. Every open deal is staged honestly, dead deals are cleared, and the team agrees what each stage means.
Qualifying the lead. The questions that separate a buyer from a browser, asked in the first call, so marketing leads stop dying in the inbox.
The discovery conversation. Uncovering the cost of the problem, the decision process and the budget, in the customer’s words.
Proposals that close. Pricing, options and the written proposal that answers objections before they are raised.
Follow-up and negotiation. The cadence that keeps a deal moving, and how to hold margin when procurement pushes.
The weekly rhythm. A 30-minute pipeline review, the three numbers to track, and the CRM habits that make the numbers true.
Who should attend
Sales directors and country managers at multinational companies running a Malaysian or regional team against a head-office target.
B2B teams selling industrial equipment, automation, instrumentation and engineering projects where one order runs to six or seven figures.
Financial services teams selling wealth management, insurance, trust and investment products to high-net-worth clients.
Technology, software and professional services firms selling multi-year contracts.
Founder-led businesses where the owner still closes the largest deals and wants a team that can.
Programmes run in-house for your team, on site or on video, and are quoted after the advisory call by team size and duration.

Andy Bang · 25 years in sales and marketing · RM300M+ in project wins
Keyence sales. Years of direct sales meant carrying a quota, losing deals and learning exactly why.
Sales and Marketing Director. Building the team, the process and the demand engine that fed it, across semiconductor, automotive and electronics accounts.
Keyence Corp of America. Two years applying the same system in a different market, which is where the method proved it travels.
ArkPerform. The same discipline now applied to industrial suppliers, financial services firms, technology companies and multinational sales teams in Malaysia.
Is this sales training or consulting?
Both, in sequence. We first fix the system, meaning pipeline, stages and process, and then we coach your people inside it. Training without a system wears off within a fortnight.
How is an engagement structured?
Advisory runs as a scoped engagement of 4 to 12 weeks, with a clear deliverable at the end, and ongoing advisory is available after that for teams that want a standing sounding board. We agree the scope and the outcome before we start.
Do you work with our existing CRM?
Yes. HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, Salesforce or a well-kept spreadsheet all work. The discipline matters more than the tool, and we will tell you if the tool is the problem.
Is this only for industrial companies?
No. The method was built in industrial sales, where deals are long, technical and worth six or seven figures, and it transfers to any business selling a considered, high-value purchase: wealth managers and insurers serving high-net-worth clients, software and technology firms selling multi-year contracts, engineering and automation suppliers selling projects, and multinational teams launching a product line in Malaysia.
Do you work with multinational companies as well as local businesses?
Yes. Andy spent 25 years inside a Japanese multinational, including two years in its American subsidiary, so the engagement fits a country manager with a regional target, a head-office process and a local team that has to deliver. Founder-led businesses get the same system, and the gains are often larger because every lead carries real value.
Do you run public classes or only in-house programmes?
In-house only. A public class teaches a generic method to strangers. An in-house programme works on your pipeline, your pricing and your deals, which is where the revenue is. Sessions run on site in the Klang Valley or on video for teams elsewhere in Malaysia.
